
Job description
The Social Media Coordinator Intern will assist in developing, executing, and monitoring social media strategies to enhance our non-profit’s digital presence and community engagement.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling and clear content.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) is a plus.
- Passion for the non-profit sector and community impact.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and create content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop engaging posts, graphics, and videos to promote the organization’s mission and programs.
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies for optimal reach.
- Assist with social media campaigns, partnerships, and fundraising efforts.
- Stay updated with trends and best practices in social media marketing.
- Interact with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster online community engagement.
